Couple Wedded at St. Boniface Church
A pretty wedding took place at 8:30 o'clock tihs morning at St. Boniface church at New Riegel when Miss Pauline Wank only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Wank, and Louis Lucius, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lucius, were united in marriage by the Rev. Vitus Shuette.
Miss Anges Gillig, cousin of the groom, and Mr. Harold Wank, brother of hte bride, were their attendants. The bride, was attired in a gown of coral shade crepe with accessores to match. She carried a bouguet of coral pink roses and baby breath.
The bridesmaid was attired in a brown crepe with assessories to match. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and baby breath.
A wedding dinner was served in the home of the bride's parents to about 40 friends and relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Lucius will reside on a farm in Seneca townsihp.

- MARIAGE NOTE:
Leo Joseph Lucius and Mary Margaret Gibson went away for a weekend and came back and told their families that they got married (eloped) on September 1, 1961. They continued to live together after they came home.
In actuallity, they got married while visiting Mary Gibson grandmother Mary E. Grabow in Minnesota. They were married on May 14, 1963 at La Cresent Methodist Church, in Ottowana, Minnesota by Rev. Homer I. Munson.
After their divorce on Dec 29 1969, Leo was awarded custody of his four children and raised them on his own. Leo never remarried.

Leo Joseph Lucius, 58, of 3015 So. Co. Rd. 591, died at his residence at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, Feburary 17th, 2000.
He was born December 30, 1941, in Seneca Co., to Louis and Pauline (Wank) Lucius.
Surviving are: two sons, Todd of Fostoria, Ohio and Scott of Gowen, MI.; two daugters, Jodi Segovia of Los Vegas, Nev., and Cynthia Lucius of Staten Island, N.Y.; nine grandchildren, four brothers, Marion, Eugene, and Herman of Tiffin and Virgil of California; three sisters, Mrs. Emil (Alice) Siegle Jr. of New Riegel, Mrs. Douglas (Rosemary) Brown of Willard and Helen Ring of Twinsburg.
Proceding him in death were his parents Louis and Pauline (Wank) Lucius and two brothers, Joseph and Louis Paul.
He was employed by Lucius Door Co., of Tiffin for 28 years. A member of ST. Boniface Catholic Church in New Riegel and the Moose Lodge of New Riegel, he was a avid outdoorsman, which included fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed playing cards.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the St. Peter Catholic Church in Alvada with Rev. Leonard Kistler officiating. On-hour visitation will be at the church prior to the mass where the Rosary will be recited at 9:45 a.m. Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery at New Riegel.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home where a wake service will be at 4 p.m.
