      Urban Henry Lucius
      Webster Mfg. retiree

      Urban Henry Lucius, 92, formerly of West Perry Street, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, July 23, 2000, in St. Francis Home.

      He was born July 8, 1908, in Tiffin, to Joseph W. and Cora M. (Jacoby) Lucius.

      Survivors include: numerous nieces and nephews; and two brothers, Carl Lucius of Tucson, Ariz., and Lawrence Lucius of Tiffin.

      Six brothers, Joseph, Clarence, Raymond, Henry, Otto and Edward Lucius, also preceded him in death.

      Mr. Lucius, a 1925 graduate of Columbian High School, retired as a steel expediter from the Webster Mfg. Co.

      He was a memberof St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church; the Club of Webster, where he was a 25-year member; Knights of Columbus, Serra Club and St. Joseph Holy Name Society.

      He also served on St. Joseph Credit Union board of directors and opened and closed St. Joseph and St. Mary Churches for many years.

      The Rev. James Steinle and the Rev. James Say will be the con-celebrants at the 10:30 a.m. Wednesday funeral Mass in St. Francis Home Chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

      Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home and in St Francis Home Chapel one hour prior to the Mass Wednesday.

      Memorials may be made to either St. Mary or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
