    Notes
    • _STATMARRIED
Timothy Bannister Lillie must have been more practical than sentimental. After 20 years of marriage to his first wife, Louisa Streeter, she died (16 Oct 1852) just two weeks after giving birth to their 14th child (David). It wasn't even 2 full months before he was married again. On 8 Dec 1852 Timothy married Lucinda M. Williams. She bore him one daughter, Lavina, on 7 Dec 1853 and must have died shortly thereafter because he married his third wife 2 Feb 1854, again not quite 2 months after his previous wife's death. At age 18, Timothy's third wife, Christa Ann Himelberger, was 24 years his junior. Imagine being 18 years old, coming into 14 step children ranging in age from 2 monthsto 21 years of age, then bearing 9 more of your own!
