      Kuhn-Jacob Kuhn, aged 76 years, a well-known and highly respected resident of this city, died at his home, 411 South Washington street, at 3:30 o'clock Sunday morning, May 22, 1910.

      The deceased suffered a stroke of paralysis one week ago and his death followed as a result. He was born in New York state on April 26, 1834, and at the age of two years he came, with his parents, to Hopewell township where he resided for sixty-eight years.

      In 1859 he was united in marriage to Miss Gertrude Drool and in 1906 he retired from active work and together with his family removed to this city where he has since resided.

      He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Mary Ulman, Jacob and Frank Kuhn, of Tiffin; Mrs. Nicholas Shultz, of Fostoria; Mrs. Louis Shriner, Simon , Peter, Daniel and Henry Kuhn, all of Hopewell township.

      The funeral will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic church at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, Rev. Fr. Reinartz officiating.

      Interment will be made at St. Joseph's cemetery.

      Residence was located in the southeast 1/2 of the southeast 1/4 of section 18 in Hopewell Twp. in Seneca County, OH.

      On Jacob's death certificate his attending physician was Geo. P Willard. He attended the deceased from May 15-21 of 1910.
