      Raymond A. Wank, 80, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather died May 1, 2002 in Hollywood, Florida.
      He was born in Lipsic, Ohio, August 25, 1921, to William A. and Alta L. (Kline) Wank. The family moved to Homer and then to Athens where he graduated from Athens High School in 1939.
      On May 10, 1941, he married his wife of 61 years Betty J. Bailey, who preceded him in death on March 9, 2002.
      He was employed by Clark Equipment Company for thirty-six years, retiring in 1976. He and his wife owned and operated Fine Lake Grocery and Gas station during the early 1970's.
      He served during World War II in the Army in the European Theater from 1943 to 1946.
      After retiring to Florida in 1976, with his wife, he worked as a Forklift Sales Manager for Datsun.
      He is survived by daughters, Sharon A. Carpenter and husband Philip of Athens, Sandra B. Lineberry of Delray Beach, Florida, son, Terry L. Wank of Coral Springs, Florida, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sisters, Gladys Mahnke, Erma Akers both of Battle Creek, brothers, Willard Wank, James Wank, Melvin Wank all of Battle Creek, Arthur Wank of Athens and Richard Wank of Augusta.
      He was also preceded in death by a son, Raymond Robert Wank, sister, Mary Mitchell, brothers, Charles Wank, John Wank and Warren Wank.
      Raymond enjoyed bowling, baseball and cooking.
      Visitation will be at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home, Sunday after 2:00 p.m. with family present from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
      Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 6, 2002, at the Richard A. Henry funeral home with Pastor Sandra Gastian officiating.
      Interment in Hicks Cemetery.
      In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice By The Sea Care Center at Hollywood Medical Center, 3600 Washington Street, Hollywood, Florida, 33021.
