Death Summons Pioneer Woman
Mrs. Margaret Miller Died Early Thursday at Her Home Near Franks.
Mrs. Margaret Miller, 86, mother of Mrs. Leo Gerber, Morrison street, this city, and who for some time made her home with her daughter here, died Thursday morning at 2 o'clock in the home of her son, Alois Miller, at Franks, O.
The death of the aged woman was due to diabetes and complications. She had been in failing health an extended period. Funeral services will probably be held Saturday morning in St. Michael's church, Franks, followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Miller was a faithful member of St. Michael's during her long residence in that vicinity.
Born in Germany the late Mrs. Miller came to America when she was a young woman and later was united in marriage to Philip Miller who died a number of years ago. She was the mother of six children and is survived by 47 grandchildren. Grandchildren residing in Fremont are: Mrs. Frank Lochtzki, Mrs. Grover Naugle, Valera, Frances and LeRoy Gerber. In addition there are numerous other relatives and friends to mourn the death of this venerable pioneer woman.

Phillip Miller's Widow Dies At 86
Mrs. Margaret Miller, 86, widow of Philip Miller, who had numerous relatives in Fremont, died at 2 o'clock this morning at the home of her son, Alois Miller, of Frank, O., following an illness of diabetes and old age complications. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at St. Michael's church in Frank, conducted by the Rev. C. N. Faist, pastor of the church. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Miller was the mother of six children, all of whom are living. Mrs. Leo Gerber, of Morrison street, this city, is a daughter. There are 41 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Among the grandchildren residing in this city are Mrs. Frank Lochotzki, Mrs. Grover Naugle, of Ballville; Valeria, Francis and Leroy Gerber, of Morrison street. Mrs. Miller was well-known here, where she had many friends.
